I can't believe how easy it was and that I have been living here for 27 years and haven't tried it. Eastern North Carolina barbecue sauce that is. Just 3 ingredients and done. I began having so much fun that I tried it on pulled (or chopped)pork and on chicken.

$1 a pound for Boston butt style shoulder makes this a very affordable dish. Visit the pork palace online. The world's largest pork display: Nahunta Pork Center. www.nahuntapork.com It's not the same as visiting in person and unfortunately you can't order anything that requires refrigeration.
For best results make at least 24 hours before using and SHAKE WELL before using! Add to pulled meat, stir and taste.
My friend whose husband used to cook the pigs for Bill Ellis BBQ says this recipe is just as good or better than the one used in his restaurant. Try it and let me know what you think.
